HabitatTracker

Now live on Google Play

The husbandry log your exotic collection actually deserves.

A reptile, amphibian and invertebrate care app for serious keepers. Feeding, misting, shedding, weight and notes — tracked per animal, synced across devices, with an AI care assistant that actually knows your collection.

Free with optional Pro at £3.99/mo · Android 8.0+ · iOS planned.

Built for the whole vivarium

Designed for reptile, amphibian and invertebrate keepers in the UK and beyond.

HabitatTracker doesn't pretend to be a dog-walking app. It's built around how exotic keepers actually look after their collections — feeding cycles, humidity, shed stages, weight curves, breeding seasons.

Log everything that matters

Five log types, one tap each.

No bloat, no "gamified" streaks. Just the data that matters for husbandry and the animal in front of you.

Reminders that adapt

Miss a feed? The schedule re-anchors.

Set feeding, misting or weight intervals per animal. When you log an event, the next reminder counts from that log — not from a fixed calendar day. Miss one and you don't get six back-dated notifications.

Fully local notifications. No server round-trip to ring your phone.

AI care assistant

An assistant that knows your animals.

Mention an animal by name — "Juno hasn't eaten in three weeks" — and the assistant is given Juno's weight trend, recent feeds and shed cycle to answer with context. Trained on reptile, amphibian and invertebrate husbandry.

Free: 5 prompts a day. Pro: unlimited.

Informational only — always consult an exotic-species vet for medical concerns.

Photo timeline

Every shed, every growth milestone.

Each animal has its own photo gallery. Use any photo as the animal's avatar. Scroll back two years to see how that hatchling turned into an adult.

Households

Share the care, not the spreadsheet.

Couples, families, partner-keepers — share one collection across multiple accounts. Generate a six-character invite code, send it over, done. Every animal, log and schedule syncs in real time.

Each log is attributed to whoever made it, so you can always see who last fed Juno or misted River without having to ask.

Prey inventory

Know what's in the freezer.

Log fuzzies, hoppers, adults, roaches, crickets — whatever you keep on hand. Get a low-stock alert before you run out, not after.

Archive, not delete

History worth keeping.

Rehomed an animal? Lost one? Archive preserves the full record without cluttering your active collection. Restore any time.

One tap to archive. One tap to restore.

FAQ

Quick answers.

How do I cancel Pro?

Open the Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → HabitatTracker → Cancel. You keep Pro access until the end of the paid month.

Can I sync between devices?

Yes. Sign in on each device with the same Google account and your collection follows you in real time, powered by Firebase. Short connection blips degrade gracefully — your edits queue up and reconcile once you're back online.

Can my partner or family share the same collection?

Yes — that's what households are for. Generate a 6-character invite code in Settings → Household, share it, and they can join from their own account. Every animal, log and reminder is shared in real time, and each log is attributed to whoever made it ("logged by Oliver").

My AI prompt count hasn't reset — why?

The free-tier counter resets at midnight local time. Pro subscribers have unlimited prompts. If something looks stuck, fully close and reopen the app to re-fetch your quota.

A notification didn't fire. What went wrong?

Android's battery optimisation sometimes throttles background tasks. Go to your phone's Settings → Apps → HabitatTracker → Battery and whitelist it ("Unrestricted").

Will you add iOS?

It's planned, but dependent on Apple Developer licensing. No firm date yet — follow the app on Google Play once it's listed for updates.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Data & privacy → Delete account. Or email ashgreggors@gmail.com from your account address. Full details on the Manage your data page.

I found a bug — where do I report?

Email ashgreggors@gmail.com with your device model and a short description of what you did before the bug appeared. Screenshots help.
